We have just had the pleasure of co-hosting a 3-day exchange seminar between Dramaturgy at Aarhus University, Theatre and Performance Studies at Copenhagen University, Forsøgsstationen and The Danish School of Performing Arts. The theme this year was “artistic research” and the students from the programmes had the opportunity to learn about the traditions and practices of different institutions around artistic research.

We are delighted with this highly qualified exchange and the opportunity to give future playwrights, actors and researchers an insight into how we work with practice-based artistic investigation here at the Experimental Station. Among other things, they were introduced to the experimental project“The Scenographic Actor” – part of a multi-year study of the actor and the Übermarionette led by Øyvind Kirchhoff.
