Today we published a new post on our blog, written by actress Marie-Lydie Nokouda.

Here is an excerpt from the post:
“Actors of ethnic diversity are, in my analysis, simply too absent and outright underrepresented in the performing arts in this country. Take a look for yourself at the theatre catalogue for the 16/17 season, which has just been released. Or have a look in a newspaper and see what’s playing on the big and small stages. How is the ethnic diversity of the performances on offer? Using ethnic minority actors (who are not typecast for a role based on their skin colour or cultural background) should be a given. Experiencing diversity on and off stage should be the ‘new normal’!”
