In the context of the main experiment of the Experimental Station “The actor and the über-marionette” we offer free training for all interested in le mime corporel dramatique and mask work.

It will take place every Thursday from 1 October 2015 at 19.00-20.30 in the Boulevarden at the Experimental Station.

Technology dramatic body mimedeveloped by Étienne Decroux, and Jacques Copeau’s mask work will allow you to explore bodily behaviour and how you move and position yourself in space, how we stand, jump, sit and lie – as a prerequisite for conveying the physical expression of emotions.

The training is led by Øyvind Kirchhoff, actor and artistic director of Forsøgsstationen. He trained at the state mime school “École Internationale de Mimodrame de Paris Marcel Marceau” 1985-88 and continued his training at the “École de Mime Corporel Dramatique de Paris” 1990-92.

He has taught martial arts, mime and mask work for 20 years at the Danish School of Performing Arts to strengthen the actor’s creativity and awareness of the physical and psychological presence on stage.

Registration is not necessary.
