The Dying Swan Song

I will physically and vocally explore grief, loss, and transformation inspired by the myth of the Swan Song, and with a point of departure in Swan Lake. The project investigates how endings may hold the seed of something new. I will research movement, voice, and spatial proximity to the audience, creating intimate, liminal spaces where the “sad body” and ancestral echoes emerge. I am currently working on the topic of death and continue my artistic practice of recycling-remaking-redoing into new forms of expression.
