– en undersøgelse af non-hirakisk læring i scenekunst

Alle har erfaring der kan blive til materiale, som kan udvikles til en performance eller en forestilling. Forsøgsholdet inviterer en bred skare af mennesker til at deltage i to dages laboratorie, hvor deltagerne udforsker og deler med hinanden hvad de hver især ‘mestrer’ udfra et grundsyn om at alle mestrer deres egen praksis og har viden som kan deles og give nye perspektiver til gruppen.

Det er gratis at deltage i laboratorie d. 12 og 13 december 2018 på Forsøgsstationen fra kl. 10.00 – 16.00.

Beskrivelse fra intentionsrapport (engelsk) – invitation til at deltage:

“Performance Art (like other art forms, maybe more so) requires of each practitioner to invent their practice. Each artist’s performance is profoundly their own. Performances are created based on personal interests, knowledge and skills. No specific knowledge in any discipline (of art or otherwise) is needed. All skills can be useful, none are necessary. Any life experience can serve as a starting point or material for a performance art piece. That’s why we find it difficult to decide if and – if yes – how and by whom performance art can and should be taught. We all learn from each other.

Jorge Tadeo Baldéon, performance artist, visual artist and scenographer from Lima/Peru and performance artist, curator and dramaturg Jörn Burmester Wium invite Copenhagen based artists, performance practitioners, dancers, theatre people, students and scholars to two free master classes at Forsøgsstationen this December.

Starting from the knowledge that all participants are equally masters of their own practice, artistic or not, these master classes leave the position of the teacher vacant and ask all participants to teach each other what they know and found useful or what they don’t know yet but would like to find out. There will be suggestions for methods to be used, but also ample time for developing new ones.

The Teaching Each Other Lab was initiated by B & W – Art and Support, and is produced and organised by Dorte Burmester Wium.”
