AUDIENCE AND SINGERS

Instructor Nils. P. Munk and “The Human Theater” are in November 2014 for the experiment “Audience and singers – interaction and fusion”.

Here’s a short excerpt from his statement of intent:

“Four singers and I explore all the different elements that could be hiding in the ‘ensemble’. Audience and singers are in the same room. There’s no 4th wall, there’s no “we’ll pretend you’re not there”. We are together and that is the premise of the story. The singers need a fixed point of reference and the audience needs a fixed narrative in the midst of a form that can seem chaotic. Once the story and characters are established, there’s almost no limit to how you can “jump.”
