In cooperation with Copenhagen Jewish Film Festival, a programme of GAGA dance will be presented on Sunday 1 March. Teachers are Siri Wolthoorn (DK) and Kari Vig Petersen (DK, N).

Description from the Festival programme:

Not everyone is into dancing but many, and more and more are. Around the world, Gaga dance has taken hold of underground communities, hipsters and artists, even pensioners and those who know that the body needs to be cared for and that mind and body are one. Ohad Naharin, Bat Sheva Dance Company’s long-time leader and one of the world’s most renowned choreographers, has been portrayed several times by the Heyman Brothers. The result is two terrific and very different documentaries about Gaga’s father and about Gaga dancing.

In Denmark, several professional dancers have travelled to the Gagaud School in Tel Aviv and Copenhagen can provide some of the best teachers in the world. We therefore present a unique programme of film, dance, dance and film on 1 March at the Experimental Station on Sdr Boulevard.

Program looks like this:

11.30-12.30 teaching Gaga/people
12.30-13.50 Film Mr Gaga
14.00-15.00 teaching Gaga/people
