A Walk Through Copenhagen

 

Street Academy invites you on a walking tour through Copenhagen—we’ll walk through the city together and delve into the
stories that have shaped it.
We’ll talk about colonial history and national mythology.
About feminist voices and antiheroes.
About the men we learned to call visionaries, entrepreneurs, and pioneers—and about what happens when
their monuments begin to crack.
Along the way, we encounter the meteorite from Kalaallit Nunaat, which, strangely enough, ended up in Copenhagen. We ask,
who owns history. Who will be remembered. And how we can once again become activists in an era that has
forgotten how to act together.
Because statues and monuments do not stand still.
The narratives surrounding them are in flux.
And some stories need to be retold!
