See You, scenes from a refugee camp.
Time: Friday, March 28, 2025, 16:30 – 19:00.
Location: Experimental station Sdr. Boulevard 81, 1720 Kbh. V
Mime artist, director and filmmaker Helle Fuglsang screens the documentary See You, a portrait of life in a refugee camp, where Helle has captured wordless scenes of the residents’ humanity, struggles and overlooked creativity, and where children learn to break down invisible walls through mime. The film emphasizes the potential of refugees and the need for inclusion.
The film lasts 50 minutes and afterwards everyone is invited to an informal chat about the possibilities and challenges of art as a political strategy in our time.
“See You” has been named finalist and best director at the Luleå Film Festival and Toronto Short and Documentary Film Festival, 2024.
