The Experiment Station Street Academy presents
A late afternoon performance in the company of the documentary, Orsugiak/Greenland’s white gold. The documentary was screened on DR at the beginning of the year and all hell broke loose. A financial fig leaf argument became the occasion for a media campaign targeting the film, the directors and several cast members. Debt The late afternoon event raises the questions after the screening: What drove this media campaign? What does it say about Denmark’s management of its past in Greenland/Kalaallit Nunaat? And why is Kalaallit disconnected when Denmark discusses its ‘engagement’ in Kalaallit Nunaat?
Time and place: Thursday, October 9, 17-19.30. Experimental Station Søndre Boulevard 81. Free admission, but seating is limited. Drinks and sandwiches are available for purchase on site.
