The Lab stationmission is to promote research, development and training in the professional performing arts in Denmark. Since 2009, we have hosted and curated a wide range of artists and their experiments. All genres are represented within the performing arts palette, but new genres have also emerged as a reflection of the amazing inventiveness that characterises these unique, distinctive and bold attempts. Knowledge sharing is a central concept at the The Lab station and means that experimental results are consistently shared through displays, reports, platforms and seminars. We want to extend that further with this site. Into the unknown is an open source, where professionals and other interested people can get an easy access to examples of experimental work in words and practice. Each experiment is presented through interviews and films to provide both an intellectual and sensory access to the experimental work.
