FROM STUDIO TO STUDIO<\/h1>\n

The experiment “From Studio to Studio” will explore the need for non-commercial training, moderated by the actors themselves. Inspired by The Actor’s Studio in New York, participants in the experiment will study self-selected scenes together, taking turns to perform, moderate and comment.<\/p>\n

The trial is led by actor and casting specialist Andreas Lyon and will take place in September-October 2018.<\/p>\n

TRIAL PARTICIPANTS SOUGHT<\/h1>\n
\n

Professional actors and performers with a desire to develop and maintain their craft are sought for trials.<\/p>\n

From the end of September and for six weeks to come, I will be running an experiment at the Experimental Station to explore the need for non-commercial education, moderated by the actors themselves. Inspired by The Actor’s Studio in New York, participants in the experiment will study self-selected scenes together, taking turns to perform, moderate and comment.<\/p>\n

We meet 30\/9 and the following six Sundays – except week 42. We want to create a space where people feel comfortable to be in, so the first time is a “try out” where you can try it first to see if you want to join. There is no obligation to attend, but as a rule you should be able to attend all times, as you will be working with partners. Also, it would be really nice if you could join the Platform on. 14\/12, where we share the experiment with all the others.<\/p>\n
