We are excited to invite you to yet another very special Teach Each Other Monday. Our guest next Monday is Henrik Vestergaard, who you know as one of the masterminds of Live Art Danmark. But did you know that Henrik has also studied Kung Fu for the last 20 years or so? With King Kung Fu he lets you glimpse into this spiritual practice, with one hour of free kung fu training. Kung Fu, in Henrik’s words, means to achieve something great through repetition and hard work. Continuing in the spirit of slowness and doing nothing we won’t work very hard. Henrik will simply lead us through a series of basic kung fu exercises in morning tempo.
Everyone is welcome. No experience necessary. Bring cozy clothes and be ready to sweat a little.
Henrik holds an M.A. in Theater Studies from the universities of Copenhagen and Berlin. He has worked in the fields of dramaturgy, performance art and curation since 2000 with Verk Productions, Erik Pold and Zarathustra’s Onkel, among others. He is one of the artistic directors of Live Art Denmark since 2004.
The photo of happy King Kung Fu was taken by Gabriela Hoffmann.
