“Sometimes art hits the heart of the person experiencing the work. That’s how I felt when I first read English playwright Anders Lustgarten’s play “Lampedusa”, which tackles the whole refugee/migration theme and how we in Europe relate to it. I set myself the goal of staging the show in Denmark without having a venue, rehearsal space, money or anything else beforehand.”
